Originally from the South-West of France and from Marseille by adoption, Sébastien Arcouet is a self-taught artist.

Since childhood, drawing has always guided Sébastien in both his personal and professional choices. A chemist by education, Sébastien worked for 17 years at a manufacturer of paints for artists. This experience was the opportunity to learn  the techniques of making different types of paint but also to connect with many artists.

His inclination for landscapes painting has developed and imposed over time. The power of nature inspires him strongly. This is what the artist wants to express in his work.

Today Sébastien has chosen to represent what he sees and no longer what he imagines, with his own sensitivity, his dynamic gesture, and his very personal palette of bright tones.
