Roldán Lauzán Eiras, painter
Roldán Lauzán Eiras is a young Cuban painter of the emerging artists’ generation.
Fine Arts graduated, he received numerous prizes and distinctions in his country. He exhibits regularly abroad, especially in Spain, Portugal.
His portraits tell a story of uncertain questioning, hesitation or wavering identity. Influenced by the world of illustration, his work reveals a mastery of the painting technique as well as a palette of colors of his own.
Very active in Havana, Roldán teaches the technique of illustration, participates in publications, exhibits in his country and also in Europe.
Roldán joined the gallery from the start. We met him by going to meet young Cuban artists in Havana, Cuba.
