Françoise Danel

Françoise Danel

Françoise is a self-educated artist who lives in France and has been painting for 25 years.

The artist long considered her work as her diary until one day she decided to exhibit. At first outset her subjects are simple (stones, pebbles …), the artist paints beauty and mystery in common things.

Her work then moved to 2D sculpture. For several years now, the artist has been focusing on shapes – either round and feminine shapes or more rectangular and masculine. Françoise explores the masculine and the feminine, twinness, complementary, fullness and emptiness. She works on the line and the curve, with the backdrop of the material, the clean forms and the color.

The artist exhibits in France and at European art fairs.
