Daniel RODRÍGUEZ COLLAZO, Painter
Daniel Rodriguez Collazo, painter, is part of the Cuban emerging artists group.
During his fine arts studies, he acquired strong command of drawing technique that earned him several awards. He has since devoted himself to painting.
Using acrylic and charcoal, his work in black and white reveals his reconstructed perception of urban space: monuments “in mutation”, buildings projected in unusual places, wrapped with the silence of the space. Daniel Rodriguez Collazo floods his subjects with a magic cosmic light.
Exposed by Cuban galleries, his work is now presented in Germany, Italy and France.
Daniel is the first artist who joined the gallery. We met in Havana.
